Interdisciplinary Performance
白昼夢* in the panopticon is a new body of work by the interdisciplinary performance collective iyi, which uses elements of live painting, dance and live music.
*The Japanese word “Hakuchumu“ is written with the characters meaning white, day and dream and means daydreaming.
“in the end we won’t need cops to police us… we will have an internalized cop who will constantly police us and we will police each other.”
The panopticon becomes a symbol of the authoritarian and controlling aspects that influence our behavior, choices and interpersonal relationships. Daydreaming allows us to disassociate, to resist, to be free and to give glimpses of endless possibilities.

Main paintings are related to scarves of ATELIER FLATMOON.

浅野夕紀と池田ルナの2人展を開催するにあたり、私たちの対談を短い動画にしてみました。
プライベートでもとても仲の良い私たちの対照的な性質や色彩、絵の起源などについてもゆるりと話しています。
この対談を観る前と後とでは少しだけまた私たちの作品への感じ方も変わるかもしれないし、ちょっとしたキーワードになれば良いなと思います。
Finally we can announce again that Yuki Asano and I will hold an exhibition in Kobe, Japan from 15th August to 29th August,2021.
On the opening day we will perform a live painting with keyboarder Shinichiro Ikeda and percussionist Shouichi Iwamoto. We would be happy if you come to our exhibition.
ロックダウンで延期が続いてから2年強。
2021年8月15日(日)〜8月29日、KOBE STUDIO Y3にて、神戸が地元であり所属作家でもある浅野夕紀さんと二人展“ZWEI（ツヴァイ)“を開催致します。
ベルリンで制作したそれぞれの絵画の他、15日のオープニングには夕紀さんとしぶさんとパーカッショニストの岩本象一さんとライブパフォーマンス“ディスタンス“を行います。
私は国内での展示は東京以外で初めてになり、夕紀さんは日本での展示は6年ぶりになります。
作風も性格も本当に真逆で対照的な私たち。
でもふとたまに、共通点があったりして気がついたら意気投合し、ベルリンで大変お世話になっている作家さんです。
私たちが撮影したお互いのインタビューや制作風景の動画も展示期間中流す予定で準備しているので、そちらも是非観てもらえたら嬉しいです。
こんな状況ではありますが、定期的にKOBE STUDIO Y3の皆さんとミーティングを重ねて準備してきた2人展なので、少しでも沢山の方に是非私たちの大作含め、生み出した生の作品をみてもらえたらと思います

In year 1101, a 3 year old girl sits in her room, looking at the clouds. Suddenly a ray of light comes out of the sky, a light so strong and blinding it obliterates everything around her. The light transforms into shapes and patterns, reminiscent of fire and smoke, creating objects of constantly changing color and form. The abstractions slowly transform into figures, reminiscent of humans, animals and combinations of colorful creatures.
The child grew up to be Hildegard of Bingen, a nun who excelled in music, science and philosophy. In the exhibition 生ける光の影, which translates "the shadow of the living light", Runa Ikeda and Karin Knutsson focus on the otherworldly visions she experienced from early childhood until her death.
My artworks are being exhibited at the Studio 358 nailsberlin,Berlin now.
This nail studio has a great atmosphere and so stylish.I'm so glad to be able to exhibit in there!
I'm still working on new paintings for that. I'll keep you updated when it's ready.

***Cancellation/Postponement of the Exhibition “ZWEI” ***
Because of Coronavirus, unfortunately the exhibition “ZWEI” in April at the C.A.P. in Kobe,Japan was cancelled.EU blocked the border and Japan control immigration from Europe. We have to stay in the Hospital or at the house for 14 days if we go to Japan. And our flights were cancelled... For these reasons, it’s too hard to open our exhibition in this time. I am very sad and hope, the situation will be better soon. We are planning new schedule in this year and maybe this winter 2020!We pray for your safety and hope to see you soon.
